Vappro V.C.I. 9868 is a solvent cut-back wax-like based amber, translucent, thixotropic liquid corrosion inhibitors. The residual film, after carrier evaporation is highly resistant to salt water and salt spray, provides long-term protection for metallic surfaces in indoor or outdoor exposure and during international shipments.
1. Dry to touch film properties allow protected metal surfaces to be easily handled.
2. Little surface preparation, as Vappro V.C.I. 9868 will adhere to the pre-rusted
surfaces.
3. A thixotropic liquid that is resistant to sag, run-off, and flow.
4. Excellent U.V. resistant, providing optimal outdoor protection without cracking or
chipping of protective films after prolonged exposures to sunlight.
5. Universal protection for ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys.
6. The non-conductive film with high resistance and insulating properties effectively
prevents galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals.
7. Have moistures displacing characteristics.
8. Thermally stable coatings over a broad range of temperature (30ēC - 95ēC).
9. Conforms to the following specifications:
MIL C 0083933A (MR) MIL C 16173D GRADES 1,2,3,4 FORD M 7 C 16A P.O.D. V 5 C 65
10. Vappro V.C.I. 9868 provides high levels of corrosion resistance, up to 24 months
outdoor protection in corrosive environment.
11. Contains penetrating film characteristics.
12. Universal protection for ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys.
13. Easy removal by petroleum solvents.
Conforms to MIL C-16173D, Grades 1, 2, 3, and Grade 4 Buy VCI-9848 Mil C-16173

NOX-RUST X-110 is a wax-based, solvent type, cold applied, corrosion preventative designed for use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals when exposed to indoor or outdoor storage conditions. NOX-RUST X-110 deposits a transparent, firm, wax-like film that is readily removable by conventionally used solvents or degreasing methods. NOX-RUST X-110 is formulated to fulfill the requirements of MIL-C-16173E, Class I Grade #4 Specification.
Protective Properties (Typical Values)
Outdoor Exposure (Uncovered): 1 Year (Min.)
Shed Exposure: 5 Years (Min.)
Salt Spray (ASTM-B-117): 336 Hours (Min.)
Humidity Cabinets (ASTM-D-1748): 1500 Hours (Min.)
NOX-RUST 502 is a petroleum based, solvent type, cold applied rust preventive formulated to fulfill the requirements of MIL-C-16173E Grade #2 Class II Specification. NOX-RUST 502 deposits a grease-like film which gives versatility in application. It is recommended for extended undercover protection of internal or external surfaces of machinery and/or materials with or without use of supplementary barrier materials. It is also applicable for outdoor protection for limited periods, where metal temperatures do not reach levels which produce prohibitive flow of the corrosion preventive film. NOX-RUST 502 is completely miscible with lubricating oils which would eliminate the necessity of coating removal, in some applications.
