Mil Prf 16173 Class1 is a petroleum based, solvent type, cold applied rust preventive formulated to fulfill the requirements of MIL-PRF-16173 Revision E Class I Grade #2 Specification. The semi-firm film is amber and translucent. Approved under Military Specifications MIL-C-16173E, Grade 2, (Mil PRF-16173E Grade 2) for Class I, and MIL-P-116J, Type P-2

MIL PRF-16173, is approved under Military Specifications MIL PRF-16173E (MIL-C-16173E), Grade 2, for Class II, and MIL-P-116J, Type P-2. It is designed to protect ferrous and non-ferrous parts for indoor or covered storage and during shipment. The cured film compatible with a variety of oils and greases.

Deposits a transparent, firm, wax-like film that is readily removable by conventionally used solvents or degreasing methods. MIL-PRF-16173 Grade 4 Class 1 is formulated to fulfill the requirements of MIL-PRF-16173-E, Class I, Grade 4 Specification.
